FAQ: Football, Champions League. The tip interpretation is that Manchester won’t win by more than 2 goals difference, in case of 3, the bet is refunded. Recommended stake (bankroll): 2%.
Reasoning: I consider this odd couple unrealistic, regardless of the ~40 times multiplier in the squad of the parties. Partly because Manchester City is not exactly in top form, they have drawn three of their last four matches. Also, their best player in defence and offence is currently injured: Rodri and De Bruyne respectively, which is nearly an irreparable loss in both team parts! Thirdly, the English star team is under the pressure of an incredible series: they had 3 matches last week, two of which were major. These clearly took a lot out of them physically, so this Slovak trip is definitely not what they need right now. In 4 days time, they will play against another top-flight opponent in the Premier League, which may be even more important to them than this early stage match in the Champions League. I’m not saying they will certainly rotate their starting lineup, or that they don’t necessarily want to win in Bratislava, but it’s almost certain they won’t push themselves to improve their goal difference today. Master Guardiola is a bigger tactician..! They will probably win, but since Slovan Bratislava is in good form, it could happen that they score at least 1-2 goals; then this plus handicap can put us in a favourable position. My tip: 1-3.
