FAQ: Counter Strike, Blast Premier: Global Final.
Reasoning: I have been following MOUZ’s work for a long time due to Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás, their Hungarian player. This was the case in their group match yesterday, where surprisingly they were easily defeated as favorites (6-13, 9-13). As they lost on Vertigo and Nuke that day, they chose to play on Dust2 and Mirage today (or Nuke as the deciding map in case of a tie). However, this might not be a profitable decision for them tactically, as Team Vitality has better statistics on both maps in the last 6 months! Moreover, yesterday the whole team had a particularly weak shooting day, each player individually produced a negative score (~ fewer kills than deaths). It will be very hard for them to improve consistently within 24 hours; whereas in Vitality, flameZ and ZywOo showed good form, and even Spinx performed better than the MOUZ players. They even managed to win 3-2 yesterday, having rolled on Dust2 and Nuke, so today’s map selection could absolutely favour them! With these considerations, MOUZ’s odds probably only fall due to their 2-1 H2h record with Vitality this year, but the results from months ago are not relevant today.
final score: 0-2 => BET WON! 🙂
