Justification: the parties are very much on the same level, which is evidenced by the fact that they are playing against each other for the 3rd time, and their previous 2 battles ended with a decisive set. Since Luca Castelnuovo (825th currently, his best is 543rd) is 8 years older, he is more experienced at the ITF level, having already won 2 tournaments. The mere 19-year-old Hayato Matsuoka (930th currently, his best is 786th) is still just a young talent who could be anything. Clearly, the betting companies also do not really know what to do with this match, and I am also leaning towards a close-set over.
