Cazaux – Rune

FAQ: Indoor Men's ATP tournament, Paris. The prediction means that Rune wins by at least 3 games difference.
Recommended bet amount (bankroll): 2 %

Justification: Arthur Cazaux (85th) in January, to everyone’s surprise, beat Holger Runé (13th) 3-1 at the Australian Open. However, since then, the French lad hasn’t had as great a season (29 W – 23 L) as he started the season; or as the Danish star (44 W – 22 L). Moreover, considering they are essentially in the same age group, Cazaux has only about 1/3 as much indoor hard experience as Runé! This could reverse the balance of power today. If that’s not enough, Runé can be extra motivated by the fact that there is a theoretical chance he could make it to the ATP Finals field as a reserve player due to possible injuries / withdrawals, so he definitely wants to win. Whereas for the young player playing on the home ground, this could simply be a typical opportunity to play the game for joy in front of his own fans, for a bit of money premium. But if he loses easily, it doesn’t really matter.
