FAQ: Indoor Men's ATP Tournament, Paris.
Recommended bet amount (bankroll): 2 %
Justification: Grigor Dimitrov (9th) slightly “overtimed” in Paris yesterday, as he was able to advance only after a nearly ~3-hour match. However, the Bulgarian didn’t play badly, his opponent was simply outstanding as well. Following this, he will surely try to finish his next match more quickly today, as he needs to conserve his energy for the remaining part of the tournament. He clearly came to the French capital for the championship title, as this would be the only way to earn enough world ranking points to qualify for the ATP Finals. Arthur Rinderknech (60th), who only started with a wild card, had much less motivation upfront: to turn his so far about 0 level season record (35 W – 33 L) to a positive one. He managed to win 2 matches already, as one of his opponents got injured, the other made ~50 unforced errors in 2 sets… So I think the Dutchman should already be quite satisfied with this lucky march, he could hardly have expected more victories upfront. However, Dimitrov needs another win more, and as smoothly as possible. He has already beaten Rinderknech once this year on an indoor court with a straight 2-0.
